Most weekends I spend at least part of my time outdoors, hiking and exploring nature. This weekend I spent both days inside. Happily, the room was located on the 17th floor of the Hyatt Regency, and the glass wall provided a panoramic view of LadyBird Lake and and the ever-changing skyline of downtown Austin. Not a bad alternative to an afternoon in the park.

With me was a group of beautiful people gathered together to create individual, personal Roadmaps to Riches. The weekend was energetic and emotional, practical and fun. There was a lot of good sharing and a high level of excitement as people began to realize the incredible power each of us has to change the events of our lives.

My friend Joe Vitale, one of the featured teachers in The Secret, spoke the first day. He shared stories from his own journey to success, along with resources from his work in Ho’oponopono. (To learn more about Joe’s Miracles Coaching program, see the link below.)

My sister Lailey Sczepanik, who is a Director of Nurses and teacher in a Nursing School, spoke to us about the connection of mind, body and spirit She reminded us of our innate power to affect the physical realities of our bodies as well as our circumstances

Participants learned a lot of new information and went through some truly life changing processes of self-discovery and exploration. By Saturday afternoon, each person had developed the structure of his or her personal Roadmap. Sunday afternoon everyone left with the Roadmap in hand, along with a set of concrete tools to use from now into the future.

While I’m interested in concepts, I’m all about the tools. Tell me what I can do for myself, but even better – give me the tools I need to get started!
