I’m doing something new…

Since August, when I injured my knee, I’ve been forced to be much less active than usual. Once I got through the kicking and screaming (well, I couldn’t do too much kicking), I’ve spent lots of time processing, thinking and planning.

As you can imagine, a few months of forced inactivity (not at all my usual mode) gave me the opportunity to do lots of personal work. I’ve been thinking about questions like, what does this experience mean for me, and how can I use it as a way to grow?

But I’ve also had lots of opportunity to think about my business, and spend time talking with associates and colleagues about the changes in our economy, and the needs of our customers. One thing many of us in the Internet business world have observed is that buyers are much more cautious about spending money for high-end classes and products. Many people are out of work, of course, or have a reduced income. But even people who are still doing well are taking a “wait and see” position when it comes to their personal expenditures. At the same time, people know there are new and exciting opportunities in the world of grants, and they want to learn how to take advantage of these opportunities.

So I’m doing something new. I’m creating a new line of products called Bankroll Your Ideas. The first of these products is:
